Oxo Multi Cherry Pitter Review
Recently, I just bought myself a cherry pitter and now I am doing an Oxo multi cherry pitter review. I hope this review will give you a better idea on whether you should get one or not.
I got this cherry pitter for trying to get rid of the cherry seeds and make some delicious cherry pies and clafoutis.
We love eating cherry pies and clafoutis but it is a pain to get rid of the seeds. It’s not only messy, it is time consuming too and I have to do it all by myself. The only time my family will assist is to help me to finish eating the pies. 😂
At first, I was a little hesitant about getting this one because I didn’t know how it worked and I didn’t know if it worked as it claimed.
I was thinking of getting the beet or black color single cherry pitter made by the same company but I went ahead and bought the multi cherry pitter instead. The one I got does cost more than the other two colors.
I think it is worth it since it has shortened the time for getting rid of the cherry pits. It does work as it claimed. I have used this several times before writing this review.

Cherry Seeds/Pits Tray
The cherry pitter includes a tray to hold all the cherry seeds. You can do up to 1 pound of cherries before you have to take it to the trash. That’s nice! That means fewer trips having to go to the trash bin.
Dishwasher Safe and BPA Free
If you have a busy schedule then just put this pitter in the dishwasher for cleanup. After all, it is dishwasher safe. If you want it to last longer then I recommend hand washing it after each use. Oh yeah, this item is BPA-free.
Adjustable Base
The base of this pitter is adjustable for a variety range of bowls. So whether you are using a smaller or larger bowl it will fit by extending the base if you are using a bigger bowl.
This is pretty convenient, in that you don’t have to go back and exchange for a different bowl. All you have to do is pull the base out to extend it to fit your bowl.

I am giving this a rating of 5 and 5 is the highest. I really like this cherry pitter. It is working great. Saves me a lot of time making cherry pies. I think this is also the best thing they have ever invented. 😂
I also found out others are not only using it for cherries but also for getting rid of olive seeds. I haven’t tried that because I don’t usually eat olives other than using olive oil for cooking.
The place where I bought this item has a very high average rating and it is also very popular among the people.
✅ Pros:
- Super easy to use.
- Easy to clean.
- Getting the job done faster, less work, and saving time.
- It’s worth the money because of how much it helps me with all these hassles.
- Even though it’s made with plastic, it is durable.
❌ Cons:
- If the seeds are bigger than the hole in the pit holder then the seeds won’t go into the tray.
- You might miss getting rid of a few seeds if you are not careful enough since we are doing several at a time. So be sure to double check. It is not a pleasant feeling when you are eating your cherry pie and find a seed in your mouth. Yes, I have experienced that. 😂
