Best Large Apple Pie Ceramic Dish
This is the best 10 inch deep ceramic pie dish I have ever bought. I use this pie dish to make my favorite apple pie. I own three other ceramic pie dishes in the same style, but they are all 9 inches wide and under 2 inches in height.
I like them a lot to make pumpkin, key lime, and buttermilk pies. When I use it to make an apple pie, all the juices from the apples and the sauce in the pie flow out of the pie dish into the oven.
I didn’t like cleaning up the mess in the oven every time I made an apple pie so I searched to buy a larger pie dish. Finally, I found it and I am very happy with the pie dish.
I have used the same apple pie recipe to make the pie but I do have to change the crust sizes to be bigger since the baking dish is a lot bigger. It took me a bit longer to make it for the very first time using this pie dish. Other than that everything is fine and the apple pie tastes delicious. Here are the things that I like about this ceramic plate below. My most favorite and needed one is the capacity feature.
Large Capacity
This pie plate has a very large capacity. It can hold up to 85 oz at its full capacity. My apple pie still has some room to spare when I actually use more than .27 pounds of apple from the apple pie recipe I used.
You can use this dish to make chicken pot pie as well. That’s what I am planning to use for my next baking item.
High Temperature
For most pie dishes you can use between the range of oven temperatures from 400 to 450, but with this pie dish, you can use it up to 800 degrees.
That’s pretty cool that I don’t have to worry about the limit on the temperature. Seriously, I always have to double check to make sure it meets the requirement.
Cleaning Up Easy
Dishwasher Safe
This pie dish is so much easier to clean up since you can put it in the dishwasher when you don’t want to handwash it. I try to hand wash it as much as possible but it is always nice to have other options.
Freezer Safe
It is great to have freezer safe options for a pie dish. With this option, we can make pies and casseroles ahead of time to freeze them in the freezer for special events like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
As you all know on these holiday events there are a lot of dishes that need to be made. This is certainly handy to speed up cooking dishes on time for the meal with the family.
Microwave Safe
Microwave safe option is available if you ever need to reheat your food. Of course, assuming your microwave is big enough for this 10 inch plate to fit into it.
I have never used the microwave to cook raw food but did try to reheat my cooked meals that were freezing for a long time in the freezer. It does take a very long time to get hot enough to be eaten.

To be honest, it is hard to buy a bigger and deeper pie dish even finding it online. I have spent many hours finding it. I have tried a lot of retailers online, like Walmart, Target, and of course Amazon.
I bought mine from Amazon. I was worried it would break during shipping since it is made with ceramic. Luckily, it came in one piece. Inside the box, it has some kind of black foam to protect it from breaking.
This 10 inch deep ceramic pie dish sells out pretty fast. The last time I bought this pie dish it had been sold out twice already before it was restocked. It does take some time for the third-party seller to restock it and who knows if the seller is restocking it.
If it is in stock you should just get it before you can’t buy them anymore. Besides, returning items is so darn easy and simple with Amazon. Yes, I have returned an item back to Amazon before. 😂

The inner measurement for the 10 inch deep ceramic pie dish is 11.2″ W x 2.3″ H x 10″ D. It weighs about 3 pounds and 6.57 oz from my digital scale. It is pretty lightweight for hand washing and cleaning up.

I really like this Roeveca 10 inch deep ceramic pie dish. It is the best 10 inch ceramic pie dish I have ever owned. It is just the right size for my apple pie. When cutting a piece of pie, it is a lot easier to take it out of the dish. It is pretty much like nonstick and I didn’t grease the plate or anything.
For a deep 10 inch ceramic pie dish, you would have guessed it would be a lot heavier but it is not. It weighs under 4 pounds and is lighter than my other 9-inch ceramic pie dishes.
I am giving a rating of 5 and 5 is the highest. It is worth the money I paid for it. It does exactly what I ever asked for. I rarely give out the highest rating for a product and this is the first time I did. It is obvious I am very happy with this pie dish.

- Clean-up is easy.
- No need to use a baking sheet to catch juices because my apple pie does not leak out the juice into the oven anymore.
- I can make my apple and chicken pot pies ahead of time to freeze them when it is ready to be baked.

Each one of us gets a big piece and it is all gone. Our apple pie doesn’t last that long at all. Definitely no more than a day.
When I first got my pie out of the oven the pie puffed up all the way to the top of the dish. As you can see in the photo the pie has shrunk back down when it got cooled down a little bit.
